A new website will help with brownfield regeneration

4. May 2018

Moravian-Silesian Investment and Development launched the website www.brf-msk.cz, which aims to inform about the brownfields in the Moravian-Silesian Region and help with their regeneration. The site serves not only brownfield owners and potential investors but also the public who wants to highlight unused land and buildings in their neighborhood. On the site you will also find an upcoming brownfield regeneration action plan in the MS Region, which you can comment on and personally contribute to its final adjustment. Part of the site is a list of already mapped brownfields, which are illustrated in the map, with basic information about brownfields and the possibility of their future use by the general public. Investors can benefit from the Regenerated Brownfield section, either as an inspiration or to promote their own successful projects. The uniqueness of the project lies in the fact that each site visitor can add his own brownfield, commentary, revitalization and contribute not only to the revival of the site but also to the brownfields as such. Last but not least, there is room for the incorporation of regeneration projects, which will help to set up a brownfield subsidy policy through MSID. The website was created as part of the LUMAT project, funded by the Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE Operational Program and the Moravian-Silesian Region budget.
