Meeting of mayors from the Moravian-Silesan Region

Nearly a hundred mayors from the Moravian-Silesian Region took part in the 12th meeting of mayors, which took place on April 4 at the Clarion Congress Hotel in Ostrava. Organizer of the meeting was the Moravian-Silesian Region through the Agency for Regional Development.

New program of the Region was introduced by Deputy Governor of the Moravian-Silesian Region Jan Krkoška. Among the most important include the completion of economic transformation and the promotion of education, business and employment. Priority is improving of conditions for life and reduce financial costs. Deputy Governor for transport and smart region Jakub Unucka introduced the vision of the smart region. The main goal is to help smart technology that can save people time and money to move the region forward.
