Moravian-Silesian Region again at EXPO REAL 2024

The Moravian-Silesian Region will once again participate in the prestigious EXPO REAL development trade fair, which will take place from October 7 to 9, 2024, in Munich. This significant trade fair, which annually attracts tens of thousands of participants from over 70 countries, is among the most important investment events in the world.

24. September 2024

Along with the cities of Ostrava and Prague, the Moravian-Silesian Region will be part of a joint exhibition titled Czech Cities & Regions. This exhibition will provide foreign business partners and potential investors with a comprehensive view of the investment environment in the Czech Republic, with a focus on specific opportunities in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The Czech booth will also offer a diverse program full of lectures and discussions.

Part of the program will include a moderated debate, which will take place on October 7 at 3:00 PM. It will inform visitors about the steps the Moravian-Silesian Region is taking to become a region of globally successful companies. Discussing this topic will be Adéla Hradilová, Director of the Moravian-Silesian Innovation Center, Igor Ivan, Vice-Rector for Strategy and Cooperation at VŠB-TUO, and Vladislav Kolarik, a researcher at the Fraunhofer Institute for Chemical Technology ICT.

On an exhibition space of 228 m², visitors can look forward to a stylish exhibit designed by the renowned firm CHYBIK+KRISTOF ASSOCIATED ARCHITECTS. The exhibition will reflect current trends in architecture and sustainability, while also providing an open space for meetings.

The Moravian-Silesian Region will present a wide range of investment opportunities, from large industrial zones to smaller plots with high commercial potential.

EXPO REAL offers a unique platform for establishing and strengthening business relationships, as evidenced by the long-term participation of the city of Ostrava, the Moravian-Silesian Region, and the capital city of Prague.

The general partner of the Czech exhibition this year is the company OSTRAVA AIRPORT MULTIMODAL PARK. Other partners from the public and private sphere who are participating in this presentation include SIRS, CzechInvest, CTP, Asental, Linkcity, Sekyra Group, Finep and PRK Partners.
