Moravian-Silesian Region organizes a debate at EXPO REAL 2024

The Moravian-Silesian Region invites all interested parties to a professional debate titled "Key Aspects of Successful Collaboration Between Business, Research, and Innovation sector," which will take place as part of the prestigious EXPO REAL trade fair in Munich.

This discussion will focus on how effective cooperation between academia, businesses, and public institutions contributes to making the Moravian-Silesian Region a home to globally successful companies. Leading experts will present concrete steps the region is taking to achieve this goal and offer valuable insights into current challenges and opportunities.

Panelists:

 

Mgr. Adéla Hradilová
Board Member of MSIC (Moravian-Silesian Innovation Center). Adéla Hradilová focuses on coordinating activities that support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and startups within the region’s innovation strategy. She has extensive experience with grant consulting in programs such as Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe, as well as in international projects supporting innovation.

 

Prof. Igor Ivan
Vice-Rector for Strategy and Cooperation at VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava. He leads the REFRESH project, which supports innovation and transformation towards a “smart” and green region. He is an expert in applied geoinformatics, bridging academic research with industrial practice.

 

doc. Prof. Dr. Vladislav Kolarik
Scientist and expert at the Fraunhofer Institute for Chemical Technology ICT in Germany, specializing in high-temperature materials and protective coatings research. Dr. Kolarik has over 30 years of experience in energy technologies and artificial intelligence in manufacturing processes.

 

The debate will be part of the broader program at the Czech Cities and Regions booth at EXPO REAL, which will also feature other interesting discussions and projects in the fields of investment and architecture.
