The new ITI investment tool will support the development of the Ostrava agglomeration !!!

24. April 2017

The new financial instrument, called Integrated Territorial Investments, or ITI, combines funds from more European sources. Money can be used to implement both infrastructure projects and human resource development projects. In the Czech Republic, this facility can be used by seven large metropolitan areas and agglomerations, one of which is the Ostrava Agglomeration.

It is concentrated on the area of five statutory cities (Ostrava, Havířov, Karviná, Opava and Frýdek-Místek) and their surroundings. It includes 124 municipalities with more than 960 thousand inhabitants.

The ITI will be implemented through six operational programs (IROP, OPVVV, OPPIK, OPZ, OPD, OPE) within which ITI Ostrava agglomerations have financial resources reserved.
